Estate++ leverages Amazon.com's global computing infrastructure for complete and reliable storage of information. You get "better than bank" security features including a dedicated virtual computing environment and SSL data transmission.

Estate++ employs a double encryption standard. Data is encrypted in transmission ("in-flight") and in storage ("at-rest"). Even though Estate++ is not a medical data application, it was designed to meet HIPAA's privacy and security standards for protected health information (PHI). All information is encrypted using the 256-bit AES/Rijndael standard. The US Government has concluded that this highly secure encryption standard is sufficient to protect classified information up to the TOP SECRET level.

Data integrity is guaranteed by creating a digital signature of each uploaded file. When a file download is requested, a second digital is created. The digital signatures must match or the file will not be downloaded.

Back up files are both redundant and distributed. This means that multiple copies of data files (redundant) are stored in geographically separate locations (distributed). If a file is lost or destroyed in one location it is immediately available from another location.

Access to Estate++ is controlled by OpenID authentication.
We recommend that customers use myOpenID as their OpenID provider.
myOpenID uses CallVerifID™ for multi-factor authentication.
myOpenID also supports client-side certificates for Transport Layer Security (TLS) which eliminates the need for passwords.

All information is "For Your Eyes Only". Only you have access to stored information. Our customer service representatives cannot view, move, upload, download, add, update, or delete any of your information.

Web page caching and AutoComplete are disabled to prevent unwanted inspection of information after you leave your computer. Your browser is forced to logout after 15 minutes of inactivity, in case you have to leave your computer unattended.
