Security You Can Trust
All information is "For Your Eyes Only".
Only you have access to the information stored in your safe deposit box.
Our customer service representatives cannot view, move, upload, download, add, update, or delete any of your information.
Information stored in your safe deposit box is encrypted, making it unreadable to unauthorized users.
Access to your safe deposit box is controlled by fraud-resistant passwords and layered authentication, which requires verification of personal information in addition to your password.
Your safe deposit box can only be accessed through an encrypted browser connection. Estate++ only uses dedicated servers on a private network that is inaccessible to any other outside sources.
Data stored on our servers is encrypted with a proprietary encryption algorithm based on the 256-bit AES/Rijndael standard.
The US Government has concluded that this highly secure encryption standard is sufficient to protect classified information up to the TOP SECRET level.
Web page caching and AutoComplete are disabled to prevent unwanted inspection of your information after you leave your computer. Your browser is forced to logout after 15 minutes of inactivity, in case you have to leave your computer unattended.
Making your information available...when it's needed most
Our unique collaboration feature allows you to share information on a "need to know" basis with others. Each shared user accesses an independent slice of information with a unique username and password.
A read-only user can retrieve your personal information as a single PDF file and download any document. You can also restrict read access to medical directives only. A read-only user cannot change any information or documents.
An upload-only user can upload documents to your safe deposit box. These users can only download and delete documents that they upload. An upload-only user cannot access documents uploaded by others or read or change any other information.
A full-access user can add, delete, or change any information or documents associated with your safe deposit box.
For example, as the head of household, you enter information about your passport, credit cards, income, and expenses. Next, you create a full-access user for your spouse or domestic partner. Afterwards, you create several read-only users for key family members and the executor of your estate. You also create a read-only user for your health care agent that can only view your medical directives. Finally, you create an upload-only user for your family attorney to upload legal documents. When you die or become incapacitated these users can access your information...when it's needed most.
